It's the most...

craaaa-zy tiiiiime, of the year.  JDRF Walk Season!  I've had my annual meltdown, sent off an S.O.S. email to my mother-in-law, cracked open an extra diet Mountain Dew, and popped four Advil.  Here we GOOOO!!

If you'd like to donate-click HERE.

Thankfully, the garage sale is months behind us.  Whew!  Thanks again to all who donated items, managed the sale, shopped the sale... :)  I feel great that it's over and done, and we have a good start to our fundraising already!

On my agenda now:
Finalize t-shirt design
Raise money
Secure t-shirt sponsor(s)
Raise money
Recruit team members
Raise money
Order t-shirts
Raise money

We are thinking GREEN shirts, with a Wizard of Oz theme.  Anyone with suggestions please, please, please feel free to email me! beckysallinger at hotmail dot com.

If you'd like to donate-click HERE.

If you'd like to join our awesome team- click HERE.  Being on the team means you'll get a free Team Sallinger shirt (Lord willing, c'mon sponsors!) and you'll walk with us at Holmes Lake Park on Sunday, September 18.  Between now and the walk, you'll ask your friends, neighbors, family and coworkers to support you by donating to JDRF.  The walk is 1 mile or 3 miles, and there's food, fun and games for the whole family.  Babies can join us and "walk" in their stroller :)

We have our fingers crossed that Super Saver will be our major t-shirt sponsor again this year (thanks, mother-in-law for talking me off the ledge every year and handling that email!).  If you're in the stores and happen to see a Store Manager, stop them and thank them for their support in previous years and encourage them to support us again! :)

If you'd like to donate-click HERE.

If you own a small business and would like to purchase an ad spot on the back of our shirts, please email me for information!  (Or, if you think your boss would be interested, pass them my info!)  We typically have 75 members on our team, usually the largest team at the walk.  This would be a great way to get some cheap advertising and support a great cause at the same time :)

Alrighty, I think that's it.  Ryleigh is working on a video for our team members to forward to their supporters via email to help them put a face on diabetes.  A sweeter face, you'll never find.

I'm trying to convince her to pull that tooth in front, first.

Love her so much,
B
